Jake Hopkins, PA-C
Jake Hopkins is a certified physician assistant working with Dr. Xenos & Dr. Joyce at Colorado Orthopaedics. He attended the University of Kansas for undergraduate school where he obtained a Bachelor's of Science in Chemical Engineering. After graduation, he went to work as an emergency department technician in Kansas City before being accepted to the Red Rocks Community College Physician Assistant Program in Lakewood, Colorado. He received his Master's degree and spent five years working in emergency medicine within Denver Metro. Jake has always been interested in orthopedics and made the transfer to Colorado Orthopaedics in 2021.
Jake and his wife have 3 young children who occupy much of their free time. He most enjoys any activities that take him outdoors, with his strongest passion in scuba diving. He received his Rescue Diver certification in 2013 and enjoys traveling anywhere he can get in the water.
Jake's first priority is the care and comfort of patients. Regardless if the patient needs surgery or other non-operative interventions, the goal will always be the successful relief of pain and improvement of quality of life for patients.
